Eternal Grid

An endless bullet-hell shooter inspired by the visuals of the 80s.

In a mysterious dark void with nothing visible but neon grids beneath your feet and glowing beams of energy from your fists, you are forced to fight through hordes of murderous drones. Your mind and body -  if they even belong to you - are all you have. 

Welcome to the Eternal Grid.

This bullet-hell shoot-em-up designed after the synthwave aesthetic of the 80s by Desolate Robots tests your dodge and aim as you try and survive as long as you can, competing with the rest of the Eternal Grid players to see which one of you can survive the longest or get the most points. All will be shown in our fancy Online Leaderboards!

GAMEPLAY

The gameplay follows the player from a top-down view. Use WASD to move and the MOUSE to aim and shoot projectiles and exploding energy blasts. However, shoot for too long without stopping and you will overheat. Drones will appear from all directions, so act fast and destroy them! 

In the event that too many drones are present, press SPACE to toggle Bullet Time, where everything slows down, making it easier to dodge their incoming projectiles.

The longer you survive, drones get stronger, and you wouldn't just roll over and die. As you destroy drones, you collect orbs, which can be used to upgrade your max health, overheat threshold, firepower, and more, evolving as the drones evolve. 

Stations for modding and upgrading, among others are scattered throughout the map, so use the map to view their locations before the drones get to you!
